Our team was responsible for the development of a cutting-edge app that transforms the gifting experience. Choosing a present usually means guessing what someone wants, searching several shops and hoping nobody else buys the same thing. What.Gift replaces that guesswork with shared wish lists, so the person receiving the gift says what they would like and friends and family buy with confidence.

What does What.Gift let users do?

How we approached the build

Web scraping is what keeps list-building quick: the app collects product details from e-commerce sites, so users do not have to enter names and prices themselves, and the same data makes price comparison possible. On top of that, the events calendar connects each list to the date it is needed for, and group gifting with duplicate protection solves the problem of two guests arriving with the same present.

The platform is designed to be user-friendly, ad-free, and accessible. Our focus on ethical operations and sustainability ensures that the app not only meets users' needs but also aligns with modern values. 🌱🎁
