When a medical emergency happens, the difference between a good outcome and a tragic one often comes down to seconds, and to whether the person nearby knows exactly what to do. Yet only a small fraction of people feel truly confident stepping in during those critical moments. That gap is exactly what Checkiteasy set out to close, and it's the reason we were proud to build the platform that powers their mission.
Checkiteasy is a French société à mission (a mission-driven company) with a deceptively simple tagline: "Coach mobile pour sauver plus de vies" (a mobile coach to save more lives).
Founded by a team that pairs deep clinical authority with product and design expertise, the company was created to solve a real and urgent problem. Emergency-care knowledge fades fast, and traditional first-aid training is infrequent, expensive, and quickly forgotten. Their answer was to reinvent that training entirely, turning official medical protocols into something people can practice continuously, in minutes, wherever they are.
The vision earned serious credibility from the start. Checkiteasy is developed with the support of respected institutions including Alliance Sorbonne Université, the French Society of Anesthesia and Intensive Care (SFAR), BPI France, and La French Tech, with clinical leadership from Prof. Jean-Michel Constantin, an anesthesiologist-intensivist and Head of Intensive Care at CHU Pitié-Salpêtrière.
A mission this important demands a product that works flawlessly under pressure, on any device, and even without an internet connection. Checkiteasy needed a mobile platform that could:
Turn dense, official emergency protocols into clear, step-by-step guidance anyone could follow. Reinforce knowledge through short, repeatable learning rather than one-off training days. Track real performance so individuals and teams could see where they stood. And do all of it reliably offline, because emergencies don't wait for a signal.
In short, the technology couldn't just be good. It had to be robust enough to be trusted in the exact moments that matter most.
We partnered with Checkiteasy to design and build the robust, scalable mobile platform behind their mission.
The result is a product that makes life-saving action feel effortless. Interactive SOS checklists guide users through real emergencies one step at a time, covering scenarios from an unresponsive victim to severe bleeding, choking, wounds, and sudden malaise. Structured learning modules break official first-aid protocols into short, focused lessons, while five-minute quizzes validate each skill and lock it into memory. A built-in performance dashboard tracks completed lessons and quiz scores, so individuals and teams can see exactly where they stand. And because emergencies don't wait for a signal, every core function works fully offline.
Just as importantly, we built it to scale. It is engineered to grow with the company as it expands from healthcare professionals to workplace responders and everyday citizens, and as its library of protocols and content continues to deepen.
The platform we built became a key part of what helped Checkiteasy secure €300,000 in funding, a combination of equity and non-dilutive grants, and win the backing of institutions like Sorbonne University, SFAR, and BPI France.
That kind of confidence isn't given lightly, especially in a field where lives are on the line. It reflects a product that clinical experts, investors, and public innovation bodies could all stand behind, and it's the clearest possible signal that Check it Easy is building something that works, and that will last.
